@manton Are there any plans for more themes for Micro blogs? Or even a way to customise them more?
@tommy It is, and certainly more with people over 30 years old! Everyone I know that uses Whasapp know how much I hate it, so they choose iMessage. đ
@tommy I really don't get the appeal of Whatsapp myself.
Even if you disregard iMessage, I'd still prefer to use SMS.
@manton I'm loving the new Mac app icon!
@johlym That's a good idea. Maybe I'll try something similar.
@frankm Safari has the default share menu! Not as good as the one in iOS though.
@johlym Yeah, I tend to use my iPhone/iPad to write blog posts quite sporadically. But I really want to minimise any friction in my blogging setup. Just so I can push myself to try and write/publish more.
@johlym From my own experience with Ghost, I donât see the team supporting anything to do with MicroPub or similar. Theyâre a bit stuck in their own ways I feel. Especially as their answer to blogging on iOS is to use mobile Safari.
@Zak Yeah itâs definitely going to bring back some memories.
Oh yeah, thatâs also a great one!
@manton That's great! I think Iâll see if I can slowly port something over to WordPress then.
@cheesemaker Great, thanks!
@manton Yeah, theyâre âworking onâ an iOS app, but Iâm not hopeful of that.
Just a thought, can you post to a WordPress blog from Micro.app?
It may seem complex, but I like the idea of a big blog, and a micro blog. Although the idea of combining them here is interesting.
@me Exactly! Doesnât require any internet either.
@matthewlang Twitter does have collections! Theyâre not very accessible though. You can create them in Tweetbot quite easily, and also get a url for the entire collection on Twitter. But Iâm not sure how youâd do this on the website.
@manton The API completely skipped my mind. I'll see if I can hook something up!
@manton Is there anyway to automate Micro.blog on iOS? Iâm trying to build a Workflow to share images to multiple places, and a url scheme would be perfect! I have âmicroblog://â working to open the app, but even a way to send just a block of text would be great!
Finished the introduction, which means 600 words have been written, and 7.4% is complete!
