@pimoore Yeah, I guess it comes back to what he mentions in the video about perspective. Once it’s in a book, the writing feels a lot more than “just a blog post”.
@pimoore thanks! I thought I’d try and describe myself with a few objects 😜
@ChrisHannah Okay, so I got to level 5, and then switched to the browser to quickly look something up. Turns out I wasn't in the best place, and came back to a dead character. Time to delete, start a new character, and be a bit more careful.
@euanlawson here you go: 594983
@euanlawson I managed to get an invite! So I can send you a code if you’re still waiting?
@AlanGMarz I’m hoping it isn’t just pro photographers. Otherwise I won’t fit in either.
@gr36 I have a feeling that might be my experience too. Maybe I just need to give it a go.
@AlanGMarz Yeah, it’s hard to not have the phone if you have everything else in the lineup.
@JMaxB Just because how much I use and enjoy Apple products. But every now and then this feeling pops up.
@ladyhope That makes sense. I’m edging towards making all posts public and just having email as an optional extra for those “special” monthly posts.
@ChrisHannah I guess I have three options:
- Keep it restricted to members. Which will reduce the number of readers on what is probably my main piece of writing every month, but also lets me slowly grow a small number of members.
- Open up the posts online. This will mean a higher potential of readers, but removing the inventive to become a member.
- Somewhere in the middle, where all issues except the current are available to everyone?
@pimoore Very true. If Twitter wanted to have less hate on the platform, you’d expect they would have done something by now.
@AlanGMarz Is the battery life that bad?
@pimoore Totally! A lot packed into that post.
@JMaxB That’s a very good point. When I think about it, most of the changes I want with Twitter would probably do the same.
@manton Totally, I also think the delay is a bit small. I think it would be interesting if it was something like 10 minutes. Because it allows for more than a quick spelling fix.
@mdrockwell Thanks! Yeah, I get that. I think that will be something that I'll refine over time until it's probably a single paragraph.
@ajennische Thanks!
@mdrockwell Totally! My patio needs sorting as well. I've been sat on a pretty comfortable garden chair right in the middle of my lawn all day.
@numericcitizen yeah I can imagine it’s putting a lot of customers off. That’s why I’m a bit hopeful that they’ll eventually improve mobile support, because it’s obviously going to attract a lot of new users.
@petebrown I noticed the same thing, I haven’t heard much about 2Do in a while.
@wearsmanyhats That was my experience too. I think even if you don’t use any advanced features, GoodTask is a better interface than Reminders. And I guess you want the least amount of friction as possible.
@Portufraise Totally! It's impressive the amount of details that are put into them.
@garethjones I tend to cycle through a lot of them, but here are a two I've used recently:

@ChrisHannah Not sure why the code block didn't work 🤨
