@mjdescy I think that's a gap that will eventually be filled by AR. Although that's surely a while away. I'm not sure what comes before that though, apart from VR obviously, maybe its flexible or more modular computing?
@gr36 I think you’re pretty spot on. Too much effort nowadays goes into appealing to the beliefs of others in my opinion. But what can you do. 🤷♂️
@adders That's an interesting idea. I've pondered adding email as a format for my writing before, and also having a completely separate stream of content just for a newsletter. I'm going to have to think some more on that.
@jack I agree, that’s what makes it.
@jack It appears that there is a print feature in Instapaper, however it is text-only. www.instapaper.com/make_prin...
@jack That’s an interesting technique, and one I think I might try out myself. It immediately made me think of a potential service though. What if you could use something like Instapaper collect articles you want to read, and then have them collated into a custom newspaper and printed. 🤔
@dadblog oh wow, they do look good!
@andyn Me too. I'm not sure if it's the type of users that are on Micro.blog compared to Twitter, or if it's that people are more intentional when posting here, but I would say I find the majority of conversations here to interesting in some kind of way.
@dadblog Funnily enough, I was doing exactly the samne last night. I managed to find one pair that I owned quite a few years back. onthedaily2.blogspot.com/2007/10/u...
@dadblog that is fascinating! Makes me want a pair even more.
@Zacb I totally agree. Everyone on here seems to have their own interesting story. And I don't think that comes across as well on places like Twitter.
@johnjohnston That's good to hear! They're just a fun way to pass the time.
@klandwehr I must admit, I probably wouldn't have got most of them. 😅
@ajennische Wow. Thanks a lot!
@amit That makes sense! I hardly write on anything other than iOS anymore.
@smokey Yep, it's a much welcome change!
@fiona I’m sure you’ll love it! It’s a great app.
@grayareas I haven’t tried Pocketcasts yet, I may have to give it a go at some point!
@Burk I totally agree! It’s my favourite part of Castro.
@johnjohnston thanks! I wish I was the same, Castro is a great app.
@oyam That is a very good point! I’m guessing it could have been a quick decision by an inexperienced dev, that just wasn’t picked up for a while.
@EddieHinkle it seems strange to me, because surely there had to be so many technical people involved in the process!
@dodi Thanks! Yeah it’s only going to get better, and I think it will eventually eclipse the Mac, but I don’t think it necessarily has to in order for it to be successful.
@EddieHinkle Thanks!
@Burk Yeah that wouldn’t be great 😜
